sometimes you think you've gotten over someone but then things happen that make you realise that you haven't. the little things, like realising where you stand in the other person's priorities. it's like, you no longer feel like you must lay claim to the top spot on the list, and yet, things happen and you realise that when it comes down to the crunch, that you have gotten over the person in your little hypothetical world but not in reality.

when things like that happen, you wish you didn't have to love. you wish these feelings didn't just develop. you can be glib about it, open even, as though you really did not care but you know, perhaps at the root of it you do. perhaps growing up never having been lucky enough to find reciprocity makes you believe that it will never happen. that the twines shall not meet, and paths will not cross. i haven't got anything else to say.

Things Girls Find Impressive

1) Buy them cheese cake (makes girls think you're classy)
2) Buy them cheese cake at odd hours of the day (when it's unexpected)
3) Drive them around everywhere and appear to enjoy doing it (coz it makes girls think you're generous)
4) Be good at what you do (it generally doesn't matter what you do. if you're good at it it's impressive)
5) Don't behave as though they have no idea what you're talking about and assume they're not interested. it's much more impressive when you explain what they don't know coz then you appear smart as opposed to distant and arrogant.
6) Wait till they close the front door before driving off.
7) Don't pay them too much attention. They need space and they like having a bit of a chase too.
8) But don't take 7 too far because ultimately they shouldn't be chasing. And they like attention.
